WOMEN ABUSE

There are so many women that die as a result of domestic violence in our country, most of them are murders and assaults by their own husband or boyfriend. Alot of women get battered but they never report them to the police because they are scared for their safety. There are only a few cases that actually build up enough courage to report their partners to the police.The estimated amount shows that about 2- 4 million women of all races and classes are battered each year. About 170 000 are so violent that the women require hospitalization, emergency room care or a doctors care. Women blame themselves for the abuse, they feel that it is something they did, their abusers degrade them so bad, they make them feel worthless, makes them feel like they can do nothing right. In the end they feel they deserve what happened to them. Many women face another kind of abuse and that is verbal abuse.​

CHILDREN ABUSE

Children are such a gift from GOD, If you think about it, from the moment of conception to the time they begin to grow in the womb and then finally come into the world. Children are a gift. They bring JOY, HAPPINESS and LOVE into our lives. Some people feel that their children are punching bags for when they have a bad day or they think the are adults at whom they can swear at.​​

Child abuse is more than just bruises and broken bones. Physical abuse is always clear to see but emotional abuse and neglet cant be seen that easily with the eye. These are things that leaves deep and lasting scars. Child abuse can damage a childs sense of themselves, the ability to have a healthy relationship, the ability to function at home, school or work. These effects includes:

Feelings of being worthless or damage

If a child gets told over and over again that they are stupid or no good, it will affect them later in life, They will have trouble to express their emotions. A child needs to feel safe and to know that they are loved by their parents. Children need rules in their life, it gives them perspective. A home where everything will be ok.If a child gets help from a young age there is a better chance for them to heal. If we know the signs we can help them and make a difference in a childs life.
