Human Trafficking has become quite a problem not just in our country but in other countrys as well, where young girls, boys as well as teenagers and women get sold as sex slaves or domestic workers. How this all happens is they get promised a better life in South Africa, instead they are kidnapped, branded and sold into sexual slavery for as little as R380. Women and children some as young as 13 yrs fall prey to this. Often rural children get taken advantage of being offered a chance for an education or better life. They are then told that they need to pay large amounts of money to buy their freedom, which NEVER happens. The poor children then get forced into labour or the sex industry. Some victims fall prey to syndicates known along the border area, they pretend to be relatives or aquantainces and lure them away. These victims end up in brothels or used as prostitutes or in porn videos shown on the internet, some of the girls are sold as sex slaves or hard labour.

People are sold for things llike muti and organ donations,babie and children are used simply for sexual explotation, cheap labour and even forced marriges. Even worse experts say parents often play a role in the modern day slavery of their own babies and children. Children as young as 12 years are on the streets. People are not objects that can be sold and bought in the shop. In 2009 there were 16 trafficking victims, in 2010 there was 35 and 2011 there was 67.​Some of these girls even get raped if the refuse to go out and work or even if the refuse to listen and do as they are told. Rape then becomes a punishment for those girls who dont listen.​

​The numbers are climbing each year, we must do something about this, that is why GODS UNITED KINGDOM wants to work and help other organizations stop human trafficking. We also want to prepare a place where we can treat the wounds of their body as well as their hearts. We would like to show them that there is someone who care heal them mentally, physically and spitually and that someone is GOD.​ ! ! !
